Colt 16" Monolithic Upper Receiver Group – Agency Surplus

Genuine Colt 16" Monolithic Upper Receiver Group (MURG) sourced from agency surplus. This is a factory Colt monolithic upper—featuring a one-piece upper/rail system for superior rigidity and repeatable zero under hard use.

These uppers were previously issued and may show wear, but remain fully serviceable and retain the hallmarks of Colt’s military/LE contract production.

  • True Monolithic Construction: Upper and rail machined as one unit for maximum rigidity
  • Colt Contract Production: Built to military/LE standards—not commercial clone parts
  • Excellent Laser/Optic Stability: Ideal for IR devices, lasers, and maintaining zero
  • Hard-Use Proven: Designed for duty rifles in real-world environments

  • Correct foundation for monolithic Colt builds seen in LE and specialized agency deployments during the late GWOT era
  • Shares lineage with Colt’s LE6940 series, widely used in law enforcement configurations
  • Suitable for:
    • Duty-style carbines
    • Modernized GWOT-era builds
    • Laser/IR-focused setups where rail rigidity matters

While not a standard-issue SOCOM Block II upper, these monolithic Colts were fielded in parallel by agencies needing enhanced rail stability.

  • Agency surplus / used condition
  • Expect cosmetic wear: finish wear, handling marks, possible rack numbers
  • Bores are serviceable with typical use wear
  • Each unit is inspected for function and integrity prior to shipment
